Do you want to read more independently published science fiction but feel overwhelmed by the range on offer?
Are you an indie author yourself who wishes they had more time to check out the community?
Sci Fi High Five is here for you!
This show aims to:
A. Survey the titles, covers, blurbs and sample chapters of the SPSFC4 (Self Published Science Fiction Competition) to probe why some books stand out.
B. Invite fellow authors in the competition on to talk about their book, and to pass on the good vibes by recommending another book in the competition that they loved.
C. Shine a little light on my own brand of weird biological sci-fi. What can I say? I love podcasts more than squinting at google advert analytics.
I will be posting audio or video of different phases of my analysis on no particular schedule. This is intended to be a fun, positive and uplifting journey where I shine a light on the best indie science fiction I stumble upon (and that other writers I enjoyed loved too).
The audio version goes into more detail about the planned structure of the show, and a little more into who I am and why I launch this show.
At the end of this journey I hope we all found even more great books to read, and were inspired to write ever better ones as well.
